Having had a relationship ended suddenly, I find myself in a difficult position. Do I go alone, having paid for 2, or is it possible to find a trusting lady companion, who'd enjoy a fully funded cruise; after checking my credentials. Also subject to urbane conduct throughout? I'm hoping for serendipity...
Emeritus Doctor seeks elegant lady companion on a cruise. A courteous urbane guy in my late 60s cognizant of a prison cell being maintained in Cruise ship to apprehend villains, should the Captain decide I have acted inappropriately. I think a "smiley" should appear here, it's a serious point, maybe not.
If intrigued enough to enquire, I provide complete details in appropriate order. A key point, dont mistakenly feel Doctors are all intellectuals; Im an Endocrinologist, any nurse will tell you, we can be as boring as any other practitioner (except Psychotherapists). Be assured you won't be subject to highbrow drivele. You may be toasted in Champagne by a teetotaler with no hostility to a drink, my sobriety will be explained, alcohol free is sanguine.

Hello, I'm an educated woman, 75, with seagoing instincts, sensible curiosity, and forthright honesty. I live in SF Bay Area and interested in getting outside my routine way of life. I lap swim outdoors every morning and was a bike commuter up to retiring at age 71.

Where and when are you going boring non drinking urbane Dr? I could be interested, I have a sense of humour too. Love a cruise, love the freedom of the high seas not averse to a glass of bubbles.

I am a retired nurse, widow and want to start traveling again. Lots of cruise experience, low maintenance and no attachments so I'm free to travel anywhere, anytime.

Seems there are a few of us now traveling solo due to unforseen partner behaviour! I've just booked b2b2b down under from Sydney starting Mar 15 2024 on Ovation of the Seas. I'm paying for a double room but at the moment have no roommate. I have a separate thread on this. I'm a 60 yr old healthy and active Canadian woman in Metro Vancouver and able to travel last minute. I'm doing the transpacific on Quantum of the Seas from Sydney to Vancouver with a girlfriend now that the ex is no longer welcome! I thought since I'm down there anyway....the key cruise I'd like to fill is the one leaving March 24 to New Zealand and if I found a roommate I'd think about upgrading to a real balcony. If this or other future cruise travel interests you send me a note. Non smoker, very light drinker generally early riser to fitness classes or walking, quiet, courteous and tidy. Not looking to be joined at the hip, just to have a companion when it suits both of us and to share expenses.
