Hi, I am a straight male looking for a m/f cruise buddy. I am a retired international teacher planning to book an around the world cruise later in 2023 or 2024/25, but the single supplement is too much. The price jumps from 12000 to 24000 which is ridiculous as I eat for one and I don’t drink. I would like to book a balcony or suite state room. I can be serious or humorous and nothing really bothers me. I do not get stressed or worry about anything anymore. I want to enjoy life, have fun and see the world again. I read a lot, I am an advanced scuba diver, I love the EPL football and all sports. Male or female buddy required as in my opinion the cabin is for sleeping in. If interested please let me know.

I (M) am looking to do the same thing. I am about to retire and would like to do a world cruise. I plan on doing a short one first. Feel free to message me about more details.

Hi, Solotraveller... - once you have completed your shorter cruise please contact me again. I've got 7 more cruises upto June and like I said the single supplement is just too much. I refuse to pay twice as much for an around the world cruise.

Hey, I have one more obligation in May, but then I'm free to plan a world cruise. I want to try the Hawaii one out of CA soon if you are interested.

Hello Michael,
If you have not already found a cruise companion, please consider my expression of interest.
I am a 72 year old retired high school teacher/counsellor whose university subject was geography. I read your post with interest as I am very interested in going on the MSC, 112 night world cruise from Barcelona, leaving January 7th 2025. Their pricing is excellent and the itinerary has some really interesting places, including many islands like Bali and Easter Island. However, like you, the single supplement is what is putting me off booking, especially as I, also, would be looking at a balcony or suite.
They also have a cruise from the Mediterranean, through Suez, around south Africa then across the Atlantic to south America, down the Amazon, north to the Caribbean, US, Canada then to Greenland and Iceland before the UK, departing January 2024. I would also be interested in that.
As you mentioned, the cabin is a place to sleep to enable me to get to these places that at my age I will never get to individually, I am looking for someone to have as a travelling companion and to share the cost so that this dream of a world cruise can become a reality.
Regards, Susan
